I know what you're thinking: Leo, what cliche, cartoonish, gimmick are you trying to pull now?Well, ladies and gentlemen of DA, this is actually for my animation class. I need to make an animation, a full, short story, and I decided to have it star Leo Winters. But... this story's going to take place in space, so I have Leo here in a space suit. Yeah yeah, I know, I'm kind of ashamed I'm doing it because it completely breaks continuity. Just take this is as a silly cartoonish one shot or something. Don't worry guys, I won't do something like this again when it's done.
Just thought it'd be a silly thing to post. I have to pass in a character design, so I made this work: Leo Winters, a turnaround, and a walk cycle. This should be enough for the assignment I guess.

Oh, I used Flash. Then, when I was finished with the cycle, I exported it as a .gif, and viola!

naw that is not silly to post, this is fantastic, alot of work went into this guy!
very very cute looking fellow you know...I like the simple but really well fitting design of the suit, it goes nicely with the character...maybe because of that cute waddle?
something that I thought was adorable looking is how his hair is squished against his helmet XD
I also really do like his walk animation and his wiggly full body shot there

Yeah, the reason why the suit is so simple is because I figure it would be easier to animate that way. Laziness I guess.
Yeah, normally his hair is all poofy, but in this case there's no way it has enough room. I can only wonder how comfy that would be.

This is very cartoonish, I love it. The animation in this is way too cool. I love the space suit and the bow tie on it. Great design.

It is an interesting premise to say the least. Leo could certainly end up in some random situations out there.
The only issue I have is a minor one, and that is the emblem. Just looks like that the "W" is a bit misplaced in that. XD

There's nothing silly about this at all! It's a great idea to have Leo out of his usual habitat, and you've sure taken this idea and ran with it.
Very in-depth information there, and the spacesuit design is nice and simple. As I already said, the walking animation is spot on, as are his rotating views, and I can't help but laugh at his heroic pose in the middle there.
