Maybe its the frame of the actual wig, it conforms to your face.
Though, I cannot really make a judgment because I do not know how tall you are.
I had the same thing when I cosplayed a character that is supposedly 4'10 when I am 5'10. xD
Maybe its also the structure of your body as well...I don't know.
Really good restyling the wig; I like the back, but there is something off about the front.
