1) I agree with :illuxon: the other design with the "opaque boxes" realy looked great.
2) I think the nav bar should be smaller & the font larger. (you could change the font)
3) you could have a black line below the header photo (above the nav)
or
you could remove the dropshadow on the photo so the models skirt and sock blends in with the nav bar.

hey i liked the last one better, with those funky opaque boxes. made it look funkier and more contemporary. infact i think they balanced out the structure. but ofcourse thats just me. this still looks cool

yea its a dilemma for a creative person to be torn between what he wants to do and what the client wants. i guess all of us hav to give in, coz at the end of the day, he's the one who makes out our cheques.

Nice but I think you should not have pink set as the background color for the navigation...or maybe you should use another font.
