"the raised finger" also associated with the Priory of Sion a cult who held John the baptist above Jesus and whose members included such people as leonardo devinci (look how many times it appears in his "religious" paintings) and sir isaac newton...i suggest you pic up a copy of "The Templar Revolution" by Lynn Picknett & Clive Prince ...other than me ranting i like it :}

The index finger is something used by a Christian Marketing Campaign used on TV in Puerto Rico where I grew up. The people would raise there finger and simply say, "to me, Jesus is #1 and for you?" it was great... it pretty much became a Christian ID trademark.

Gets a deeper meaning in combination with the name ´Levite´! The raised forefinger can show a way or remind someone on something... but the raised finger can also act as a deterrent! I think this mascot is ambiguous: cute on the one hand... serious on the other hand! At least its a piece that can/should make you think!
