I just made one! This was my first time sewing EVER. The tutorial was perfect! The only mistake I made was mistaking the brown thread for black thread. Haha, darn these eyes!

This is a very helpful tutorial.
Just to be clear though, you used blanket stitch for the entire main body of the cake?
Also, for the thin brown piece that goes in the centre (the icing), did you sew it on, or glue it? Thanks so much!
