This, and the other three that go with it, was done for the hell of it. Not a commission, not a job, but just because I've always wanted to draw a Conan strip - and I had a few (rare) spare days on my hands. Had a ball doing them and maybe I'll do more, make a real story out of them...Best,

I see hints of Joe Kubert in there. Very Nice! I like that you can adapt your style to the story

I always try to adapt to the character, the tone of the book and the story if I can. I guess there is a bit of Kubert in there, though I confess he wasn't an influence. It's confident, loose inks I think...

I'm serious about sending it to Marvel. You knwo there's a CONAN movie coming out next year- and ther will be a revival of interest in the character!
also- Darkhorse is also reprinting all the old Barry Windsor Smith Conans in hard cover. you could sen it to them. I don't KNOW who owns the copyright- BUT I'm sure someone will be interested.
You could be the next reknowned Conan artist. up there with Smith, John Buscema, Alex Nino, Gil Kane and others! Its a distinguished company! So THINK about it!
