First of the my Chinese Zodiac, The Ram.I decided to draw the ram as a transgender woman because i wanted to; so deal with it!
No in all actuality there is just not enough art for the LGBT community. My goal with this Chinese Zodiac project to show the spectrome of sexual idenity in a fun way. From heterosexuality to homosexuality and from sexual to asexual. As an panromantic asexual im finding that there is just not enough said about the sexual identity spectrome and how broad it is. So join me on this journey though this project and definitely leave a comment below telling what you think about this piece and what do you identify as.
ABOUT THE PIECE
I wanted to draw a chin strap on the girl to show that you should be you no matter what. Yes society says beards are for men but F*** that, be you. Be You wear what you want, sexually identify as what ever you best describes you; dont let your family,friends,or society say any different. Cause at the end of the day you know yourself better then any one else, so take pride in who you are.

My only question aside, I totally agree with you on the sexuality spectrum. There is SO many layers to the human psyche that judging people for being homosexual, transgendered, transvestites, e.t.c is absolutely ludicrous. I think people do because in our culture(being an American anyway), our society is always trying to LABEL things. Which is totally immature, cause labels aren't going to help you understand someone better. I'm a female and I like women, which by American standards makes me a Lesbian.. however, I don't call myself a "Lesbian" cause I don't like to label myself. And why should I? Today I may be a sexual Lesbian but tomorrow I could be an asexual. You know what I mean? And anyway, I'm still really young so t doesn't really matter what my sexuality is at the momento. Lol.
But I agree wholeheartedly with you. Can't wait to see the rest of your project! You def have talent.

No, im doing the Chinese Zodiac this one was based of the ram/sheep of the zodiac. But i can see how it could look like Aries.
