When I think about it, I can happily read shonen ai or heterosexual stories, so long as the story is sweet it doesn't matter ^_^

I heard bromance being mention once for, Spock and Kirk? I'd like to watch Star trek sometime but can't find it for looking.

I started out with origins and chose an elf at the Circle tower! Felt bad for Duncan and was peeved with the life span in general XD

Yush~ I really love sweet heartwarming romance as well~ I really don't like it when there's a whole bunch of admirers fighting over the main character and he/she ends up with the one who had showed no interest at all XD Or even when there's a triangle and both of the love interests are equally charismatic and lovable characters, so either way I'm gonna be unhappy for the one who gets turned down Unless he finds someone else. It's ok then I guess...

There's a lot of bromance around! Like House and Wilson, Holmes and Watson, the characters played by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul, etc.), Bruce and Tony (Avengers movie), Neil and Peter (White Collar <-the chemistry is something wonderful here!), Dean and Castiel (Supernatural), Bernard and Manny (Black Books), Steve and Danny (Hawaii 5-0, new series - again, amazing chemistry) etc. XD There's a lot more I could mention, but I think that's enough

I've played as a human noble female, a Dalish elf female and recently a human noble male (just so I don't have to worry about romancing Alistair XD I'm gonna ditch him and take Loghain with me anyways, I just didn't have the heart to say "no' to him when playing as a female XD) The lifespan is indeed a downside... And Duncan's death made me sad :C I didn't care for Cailen, but DUNCAN-! How could they kill him off so early in the game?? ;__;

I know! I ended up watching pretty in pink the other day, the ending killed me because she ended up wit hsomeone who didn't deserve it!!

I love the simon pegg nick frost team! Their films are fantastic! Haven't seen the new avengers yet ^_^

Do I have to download these? I'm a bit iffy about it. I always see the worst possible thing happening, like getting arrested XD

Oh I know!! I love Alistair! He's who I chose!! And poor Duncan! I didn't want him to die so early either, he seemed so nice!

I haven't seen Pretty in Pink...but I guess that's a good thing, if I were to get angry about who ends up with who later XD But I have to say my absolutely favourite film couples were in Love and Other Disasters! I loved ALL of them, it was just too perfect to believe! XD The whole film is generally awesome for a romantic comedy. Even my brother liked it and he normally hates these types of movies! XD

Those two are amazing, and not just in their films! Did you know they write fanfiction about their characters? I don't think I've ever heard of any other actor doing that. XD I also like how their friendship in real life is exactly how they portray it in their movies ^u^
I haven't seen the Avengers movie yet either, I'm waiting for it to come out on dvd. They only showed the 3D version, and my eyes can't handle it, I'd probably have to leave halfway through... not to mention it was DUBBED! Yuk! It should be forbidden to dub live action films. XD

You don't have to download them, they have links to watch all the episodes online ^^ There's lots of other series on that website too! I always watch things on there, I only watch downloaded movies when I'm at my friends house, since she downloads because she needs polish subtitles to watch anything

I chose Alister TWICE, even though I had my eyes set on Zevran the second time XD Now I'm thinking of romancing either Zev or Morrigan ^^

It probably is for the best. I usually have a very hard time getting through the type of film pretty in pink is but I had to tolerate it. Its one of those angsty teenager thats angsty over nothing important films.
I'll have to keep an eye out for love and other disasters then ^_^

I usually wait for dvd releases too. It usually isn't a horribly long time anyway ^_^

I know what you mean, it can be a bit odd listening to dubbed live actions, although I can manage, I've had to watch a few films with subtitles on, but I still prefer listening in my own language ^_^

Oh, I see where that can be a problem for your friend. So, what is streaming? Its not illegal?


Alister is such a sweety and actually rather humouous, I'm not sure who I'll pick a second time around. I started a second game as a royal dwarf, I have no idea who I might choose. Its a shame Howan wasn't available. He was kinda sweet at the begining ^_^

Oh, streaming is simply showing the video online, nothing illegal if you watch that ^_^

I wish Cullen was available as a romance option! XD Did you know, that if you play a female mage Cullen, who is a Templar guarding the mages at the tower, has a crush on you? XD I wish they had developed it more, I really liked him, even if in Dragon Age 2 he was kinda clueless XD Helped my Hawke during a mage attack (even if in the end I was the one saving him ), but he didn't even notice I was traveling with 3 mages at the time, haha! Not to mention one of them was a wanted man, ohohoho~

How long is a long time? Here its usually about 3 months from cinema to dvd, I couldn't say how long from country to country ^_^

You know, I never thought I'd like Sten with him being a murderer, but I decided to take him with me anyway to mix up my party, and getting to know him, he's almost pleasant. Still a bloody filthy murderer, but despite that, pleasant XD

Speaking of wanted men, I dropped my dwarf file, got bored, and started up as a Dalish Elf Rogue. I chose Zevran! He's actually quite sweet! But I hope he doesn't backstab me this time T_T

I got hold of Dragonage 2 the other day actually, I'm trying to hold back on playing it though until I finish my first game so I can use my own history in it. I'm going to choose a female mage ^_^

I think Al can only marry the Warden if he's "hardened" (I have no idea how you do this, I think you can't choose any of the dialogs that make your character treat him like a helpless damsel, haha! XD You have to toughen him up and not pity him when he whines XD).
Oh, but this doesn't apply if you are playing as a noble human She can marry him no matter what dialogs you choose, as long as you are romancing him

I read something in a guide, I think you harden him by taking him to see his sister. Probably need to choose dialog options too, I'm not sure.

I can't be the only one thinking it sounds odd that players try to 'harden' alistair XD

Yeah, that's one of the situations in which you can harden him by choosing the right dialog My Alistair is a softy in my first game though XD I didn't even know you COULD harden him! I was always sweet to him and treated him like a big baby, always cheering him up when he was upset about something, rather than telling him to man up! XD Luckily I can still be with him even if he becomes king~

Haha, I thought that too! My friend and I were both playing the game back in October and we kept making jokes about it XD

Well the quest with his sister activates the possibility to harden Alistair. Then in the later conversations, you will have dialogs that will harden him further You can harden Leliana as well. There's even one outcome, where you marry Alistair and become queen AND have Leliana as your mistress! O.O

I only read on Dragon Age Wikia, that after the quest with his sister there can be more hardened dialog available if you chose to activate it...it doesn't say when exactly or what to pick... Sorry :C I wish I could help, but I can't find anything about when this dialog appears. I'll look some more though and let you know if I find anything

What I mostly meant was that there is usually a difference between the original premier of foreign movies, and the premier here in Poland XD Sometimes it's even a few months, in the worst case - a year.
I don't know how long it takes the movie to come out on dvd here though... 3 months is probably a minimum.

He has a LOT of fangirls, I can tell you that! XD But that's not surprising x)

I actually like Sten. Even if he did murder that family, he didn't mean to do it, he wasn't in control of himself... He only realized what he had done after it had happened and regretted it, so I can't really call him a killer

It's so hard to get approval points with him though! He has a really specific way of seeing things and sometimes it's difficult to predict how he will react to the Warden's decisions XD I was surprised when at one point I managed to get +15 approval during a conversation with him! And then later he started calling my Warden "Kadan" which made me happy~

Zevran is awesome! Although I ACCIDENTALLY slept with him in Dragon Age 2.... Luckily, Fenris (whom I was romancing at the time) wasn't around to see it, so he never found out... >u> I already did Alistair as a female warrior, so now I'm gonna go for either Zevran or Morrigan But probably Zevran He can be really charming and is actually surprising faithful if you are on good terms with him or in a relationship ^_^

Awesome! You're right, it's a good idea to wait to play it until you've finished the first one I started with DA2 and there were some things regarding the plot that I didn't understand, but it was fun nonetheless ^_^
The companion characters in DA2 are definitely more detailed in terms of background and personality, and I myself find them more lovable than the companions in DA. XD The game itself is shorter and the story isn't as developed but I still like DA2 more, even if most people prefer the first game! XD
Oh, but the men in DA2 are so PROBLEMATIC! Well, most of the companions are to some extent really... But I can't help loving them anyways And VARRIC! Best bro ever, haha! Can't be romanced, but I guess that's what makes his relationship with Hawke so special!

I know! You can try however hard you want to get him to like you but there's never any idea of what statement will make him angry! I spoke to him once and I thought O said something that would make him angry. He loved it! I hope I can find his sword, it means so much to him.

Zevran's in DA2? YES!!!

Just, if your romancing him in DA, becareful, the first time I got to Denerim, I hadn't bothered with him and he turned on me, siding with the Crows, I think you gotta make him really like you so he won't.

Yes! I hope I can find it too ^u^ I've already gotten him to like my character, but I wanna make him happy~ :3 And I've been collecting paintings for him! 8D That always earns me extra points

Zevran only appears during one quest, I don't remember the name of it though... It's a side quest that can be activated if you check Hawke's mail, it will be in one of the letters Regardless of what gender your character is, you will be given the option to flirt with him, but if you do, you'll basically end up sleeping with him, haha! XD Oh, but there are some things that can influence the outcome:

Male Hawke
- if you have Isabella (a pirate woman) in your group, Zevran will flirt with her instead.
- if you have your current romance in the group with you, they will get angry at Zev and he won't flirt with you.
- if you are romancing Isabella, he will flirt with her, but you can interrupt. You will then have the option to have a threesome with her and Zevran, or you can decline and Isabella won't sleep with him either.

Female Hawke
- same rule for the current romance being in your party.
- if you have Isabella with you, Zevran will flirt with YOU first, but if you decline his offer, Isa will accept it instead.
- I'm not sure, but I think if you are romancing Isa and Zev flirts with you, you can also have a threesome...? I don't know. XD

Oh, and sleeping with Zevran does not effect you current relationship. Think of it as a bonus

I haven't reached Denerim yet in any of my DA playthroughs so I had no idea this would happen! O.O I'm pretty close with him, even if I'm romancing Al... He's kinda like my best bro! XD Although he did try flirting with me and I flirted back, but it wasn't anything serious XD

No, it's ok! XD I've read plenty of spoilers accidentally on wikia, so I don't mind XD I think you can kill Sten in one of the quests as well... I don't know about the rest of the companions though
