I saved it to my gimps brushes folder, but when I opened the folder, the file disappeared. =/

On your Ps, you must open de brush tool, in the top left, the same box where you select the brush that you are using, click the arrow pointing down, then a small window will open and in this you must click the arrow pointing right. Then select the option "Load Brushes" wait a little and select the brush in the left bar. If you have more questions do not hesitate to ask.
