That is indeed what it is, it doesn't have to be because by it's nature it 's ambiguous, but yes, that's what I see too.

This is a very interesting work - the straight lines almost a frame, counterpoint the large figure in the center, with the "nothing" staring at me - challenging, menacing, threatening...
