ha i do dots of shadow on most of the sprite too XD
But when i go to change the outline color i only change the light area, to match the shading. or to separate colors.

yeah i kind of have a question. for those who are new with making the base of fakemon, how would one do it? i feel like it might be easier to copy the image of what the base looks like such as your little foot and shrinking it to the right size to then sprite over it.

i sprite in two different ways, either this way, or sometimes, like you said, i shrink bits i find down and sprite over them to make a basic structure if i'm having difficulty with the fakemon, you can do it either way
