Once Dead Round 5 vs. Shiro-Item Retrieval

“O.K. let’s try this again…” a voice in a closet sounded before its door was blown off its hinges and Light Trainer came out coughing. “*Cough, hack!* Not one of my best ideas but *cough* it worked.”

She soon let out a sigh of relief as she ran her hand through her hair. “At least Xyn and RC are O.K. And since my power’s cut in half I have better control over the crazy side I was forced to have so as long as I don’t see anyone else I’m good…I hope.”

She soon paused as she felt something off with her left ear and felt around for her earring…that wasn’t there much to her dismay. “Oh for the love of-! It must’ve fallen off during my fight and since I was in there a while it’s probably at the lost and found!”

She looked around and saw the hallways were close to Dessie’s room so she dashed forward in hopes that she can find her earring as she made her request to Veronica, who seemed more ticked off than usual as she finished tossing more items inside.

“Well f***, there was one that was just returned but you’ll have to find it among the rest of the s*** in here,” she replied as she pointed at the door before she left with her spiders. “Have fun.”

Light Trainer was in shock at this but thankfully got lucky as for some strange reason the last person didn’t close the door properly and Desdemona was surprisingly sound asleep, despite her increased levels of paranoia.

Her tails drooped at this in worry and soon began rummaging around very quietly, except for her whispered mutters. “Stupid Veronica…why doesn’t she categorize this better? I swear I’m going to give Shiro an earful for this since she created this dang tournament world if I don’t…wait…here it is!”

She soon pulled out her single black hoop earring and attached it to her ear where it belonged…and noticed a pair of goggles by her feet. “Hey these are Tech’s goggles…I’d better get them to Xyn when I get my sanity is back in order.”

She picked them up and quietly left while closing the door as to not wake up her fellow Mage. Breathing a sigh of relief a bit too soon, she soon felt the darker side of her rise up which only meant one thing; her next opponent was coming…

…And it turned out to be Shiro.

Just before the human noticed her, she remembered something from not long ago when she was still in that closet…

“Why of all times should my magic be weakened?!” L.T shouted…still in insane mode as she tried various spells to blast the door open. She knew that Aegy would not like this recent failure at all so she was desperate.

A sudden knock came to the door. “You disappoint me.”

“Mistress!” Mega L.T said in shock and surprise.

“My orders were simple but your conflicts because they were friends had complicated things,” Aegy said with spite in her voice. “I have another target for you but if you fail…the punishment will be more severe than you think.”

“I-I understand,” she replied nervously.

“Your next target is my loathsome enemy, Shiro. DON’T fail me again!”

She walked away as the real L.T finally surfaced, feeing very afraid indeed.

“Oh hello Light Trainer,” she said casually when she noticed her, “I was wondering if-”

“S-Shiro…” L.T soon said as she leaned back on the door and tried to fight back. “R-run…”

A dark smirk came on the kitsune’s face as her eyes went dull as if she was hypnotized. “That’s right…run little Shiro.~”

The reddish-brunette soon saw what was wrong and indeed began running as Mega L.T soon launched fireballs in her direction, missing her and running to catch up, destroying a few walls in the process.

Veronica soon came back with an armful of stuff at that moment and saw the destruction, looking even more irritated as even some spiders were killed in the crossfire. “F***…I hope these s***heads will pay for all this…”

Shiro was doing her best to dodge the various elemental spells that were launched at her. Sure she did know various martial arts, like karate and Shito-Ryu…but nothing to help against a psycho-kitsune!

*Aegypius must have done something to her!* She thought as an ice spell on the floor nearly made her slip but she caught herself. *I know Light Trainer would never do this!*

A wind spell soon caught her on the back and sent her sprawling but she managed to get back up and keep running before a fireball blasted the spot that she landed. She even tried knocking things over in hopes to slow the kitsune down…but failed to even make Mega L.T stumble as she jumped over the obstacles.

Suddenly, L.T stopped as she tried to fight back for her own sanity.

“Ugh…ergh…No I don’t…” L.T muttered as she held her head but the darkness rose up again. “Geez this girl’s getting desperate…”

Then she saw Shiro was nowhere in sight and gave a sigh. “Either the halls changed or she’s playing dirty.”

It turned out the second was true as she passed by a hall and Shiro put the jump on her, knocking off her glasses as she kept her in a grab technique. Mega L.T fought back with a few flailing kicks of her own until she cast a wind spell to get the human off…but that turned out to be a mistake. A few feet in the distance, Shiro looked blurry so as she began to cast a spell, she had to guess to where her opponent was.

She let out a lightning spell but the thunderbolts hit the ceiling instead…and almost fell on her as she jumped out of the way.

As Shiro was looking for the kitsune in the dust cloud, Mega L.T snuck up behind her and knocked her out with her staff, ending the battle. She then did her best to haul her into an empty room and locked the door so she was out of the way before finding her glasses and slipping them back on.

“Well she’s not dead because of the fact that your powers are weaker than before…but I hope Aegy wouldn’t mind her being stuck in a random room to get her out of the way. And now you can have your body back.”

L.T soon returned to normal and sighed in relief as she whispered. “I hope you don’t have any hard feelings Shiro…”

She then went down the halls, not knowing that Aegy was in the shadows with a glare on her face…that became one of irritation as L.T ran back screaming the other way with one of Deadberry’s sisters hot on her tails…

Love Covered in Blood

Zwarte Nacht was walking down a hallway, humming “iNSaNiTY” to himself as he cleaned off his swords, more blood dripping off of his body from killing Caroline in the pool.

“Well that one turned out to be a bit messier…but who says that slashing someone is often neat?~” he said cheerfully to himself with a dark, yet amusing, chuckle.

He soon stopped as he heard someone else humming and looked around a corner. He found himself staring at a particular Zombie girl who also had a bit of blood on her and found his now-cold heart had skipped a beat.

He now had fallen for Deadberry!

Of course she did stop, looking confused, when she noticed him and saw the blood. “Deadberry thought Eclipse didn’t like blood on him…”

He gave a charming smile. “Ah my dear Deadberry, I am no longer Eclipse but Zwarte Nacht…Black Night. I love to have blood on my blades as well as myself, as much as you do.~”

Deadberry looked surprised and even more confused. “Really truly?”

He nodded. “Of course my wonderful killer.~ I would also like to be friends with you.~”

She now jumped up and down in joy, not knowing that he actually loved her since she did not really feel or understand love at all.

Then she suddenly looked innocent. “Deadberry wants to kill another! Does Nacht want to help?”

He gave a dark grin. “I would love to.~”

A harmony of evil laughter went through the halls as Deadberry’s sisters smirked at their budding friendship.
