Description
Thinking about it, Dead By Daylight is a horrifying concept. The survivors have been ripped from their normal, everyday lives by an unknown entity and thrown into an absolute nightmare. They're forced into trials against serial killers, having to fix generators to power exits at a small chance of escape, with there being an even smaller chance if the three survivors they're with die and the remaining person tries to find the hatch. Any time they die, they just come back to the campfire, where they sit between trials, just waiting for the next time the entity calls on them again. Most commonly, they're sacrificed to the wicked Entity, slowly being drained of their souls, feeling more hollow each time they're sacrificed. Then there are times when the killer is allowed to kill a survivor without sacrificing them by using a Mori, which allows them to slaughter the survivor in their own way without the Entity's interference.

All this with no chance of ever escaping and being forced to do this for eternity, or until their soul is completely devoured by the Entity.

I feel like this is even worse for survivors who have already been through hellish scenarios before. Laurie Strode being forced to fight Michael Myers forever, Quentin being stuck with Freddy (Made even worse by the fact that, even outside of trials, Freddy can get to him in his sleep), Bill being brought back after his sacrifice to save the other survivors in Left 4 Dead, Detective Tapp has to go against Amanda Young (who has completely become murderous), Steve and Nancy with the Demogorgon, and Cheryl having to return to a location in Silent Hill again and again and try not to be caught by Pyramid Head. Ash Williams is there, too. All the same could be said for Kiden, surviving through his own hell, only to be dragged into an eternal one.

I love this game, and I can't help but feel sorry for the Survivors. T^T
