Description
Commission for fishinabarrrel .That's how you do it, folks. When drawing overweight characters, PLUSHIFY, not inflate the belly to the perfectly round shape like a freaking balloon and call it a day; this seems to be a common misconception. Reference on real people and animals. Research on fat vs gravity physics. Don't overdo it though, if you want to keep the effect tasteful enough for everyone. Just a little tip here.

Two things: First off, the base plane matches the character 100% Second, I totally agree with the "Make him 'plushy' not a Gravity-shifting-balloon" They look MUCH better this way.

He's adorable x3
I agree with you. I'm not a fan of the "balloons" people draw all the time, but i like the more realistic and in this case, "plushy" type . Right here is cute!

Absolutely. It doesn't mean I suddenly like fat characters out there though, nope! xD I like to experiment, push myself nearly to the limits to see if I'm actually comfortable with drawing certain things in general. It turns out that in case of fat kink, I'm still picky as hell.
