I finally did a portrait with colored pencils! I really like the way this turned out!Β

Color pencils?!!!!!!! Looks more like u used paint!!!! But this is INCREDIBLE!!!!! What kind of color pencils did u use? ( this is a pretty dumb question, but I'm just wondering)

Haha thanks! And I used prismacolor colored pencils. They are wax based which is why it looks like paint. You can find them at almost any art store.Β

Well I can't really tell you how to shade in general except to practice to learn how light acts. And for colored pencils I like to start shading with the darkest color then burnish the lighter colors over it by pushing really hard which blends them and make it look like paintΒ
