The second generation Mighty Morphin' Team of Earth 979 led by Ryu and Adam. Matthew Wood joined as the second gen Green Ranger. Ryu and Chun-Li became the new Rangers alongside Rocky, Aisha and Adam when Jason, Trini and Zack became the Omega Rangers; Ryu and Chun-Li gained their powers when Tommy lost his Green Ranger powers and had become the White Ranger. However, Tommy chose to join the Avengers as the White Ranger, leaving Ryu and Adam as the leaders of the Power Rangers. Matt joined the team with his own DragonZord coin gifted to him from Ninjor. Tommy returned when Kat joined as the Pink Ranger. This team is known to history as the Mighty Morphin' Street Rangers; for they are more close to the ground, fighting not just monsters but gangsters and criminals.
