I've seen many a lighthought tonight
as I cleared out my deviation list.
I'm trying NOT to comment on every one
but this one just about FORCED me!
What a lovely sunrise and a lovely sentiment
to go along with it.
The sun, in its constancy, is a joy to behold.
Thanks for catching the moment for us!

If you have never done, try to do so now. It helps coping with the life stresses which unfortunately are unavoidable, but which also be seen as valuable challenges. A lot is in the mind!
You see, my lightthoughts, I mean the quotations, are very diligently chosen to give some light, some encouragement to people who care to read them. There is nothing more important on this earth than helping each other live. That is at least my conclusion after a pretty long life.

Wow, the colors of this pic imply that this is a sunset in the African savanna.
But I assume that it's not, is it?
And the format of the photo adds to its great effect.
Would have wanted to see the sunset in persona...

No, it is just Sleswig-Holstein in the north of Germany in August.

When seeing something like this, one begins to wonder "why bother going abroad for holiday???"
I've had a similar feeling with my picture "The wall ".
But that simply lacks the great sunset...

You live in a very beautiful area, living in southern Thuringia. I was there once, in a little village called Crock. And my ancestors from my fatherΒ΄s side come from Schleusingen. So there is a link! But I only know about its beauty by having gone there myself once. So do keep travelling!
