It's important to take time to reflect. What went wrong? But you can't let it get to you too much either, you need to keep going. What's important isn't beating yourself up so much you stop moving, but understanding and pressing forward, now equip with the knowledge needed to better yourself in a truly meaningful way. Then, once you've gotten a little bit further, you can reflect again, but with newfound pride in your improvements. Take that feeling, keep it close. It's important, after all.

At least, that's the idea I had while drawing this. It's something I've wanted to draw for a long time now, but I'm really happy with how it turned out, so in the end I'm glad I waited.
