Description

OC; Moments actual for backstory times.
I found another way to make pretty epic sketchdump. I’ll never do it again.
Nothing scenically-important, just practice, magic effects and random lion sketch in a random ruined background;

Magic, any magic in their world, as a rule, has no visual effects [if we exclude a fire during burning reactions]. This type of decay too, but I can’t allow myself to make a drawing without smoke, SMOKE, I love smoky stuff. It doesn’t matter because of what, but smoky stuff should be, my eyes and hand say so.
Usage of the magic may break sorcerer’s body/system, or at least turn skull and core into an inexplicable bunch of materials [as in the “things happen” pic]. Because of this, sorcerers usually use armor for head and paws/weapon [anyway it will fall apart in the end]. I'm in the process of a “death mask“ and “some kind of armor” design inventing due to this.

Ah, also "tabula-rasa" the tool. Magicians often use alternative bodies to avoid serious self-damage. It doesn't mean, that sorcery should cause errors in the system and/or magician's life permanently. As a rule, it doesn't. But, you know, things happen.

I really need to learn to draw smoke like you do, it's so wonderfully smooth and captivating *-*
I also really like how you put all of these together and connected them through "cracks" you are so fantastic at design ; v ;

It's very relaxing process, you can do it!
Aah, it was just a quick attempt to remove the awkward look because of the white borders of the images, you make me blush, awwwww <3

I envy how you can mesh strong angles with curves to capture anatomy so well!

Oooh, your words are a balm for my heart! I experiencing a difficult period of combining forms [that I prefer to use in easy works] with the usual anatomy of people/animals, and try to understand how it should work together. I'm glad that it looks well, it gives me the feeling that I spent my training time not in vain! Thank you so much for the encouraging words!

Of course! I cannot resist loving every piece of your art that comes across my feed. I am so envious and you make it look like it's a natural skill you've mastered, it creates such an aesthetic that I'm head over heels for. <3
