Only found in the Lindeza, this pattern is though to come from the strong presence of the pangare gene in the Pega donkey.
A few donkey breeds show pangare with a stronger edge than what we could find on horses.
The pattern doesn't need to have sharp edges on the whole design but need at least some of the edges to be sharp.
It's so dominant that it can also express on the black base.
