Yoshiyuki Sadamoto - Evangelion is a classic and Sadamoto drew the most amazing hands.
My Chemical Romance - The lead singer, Gerard Way, was told he had no talent at the art school he went to, and look at him now <3
The Offspring - Always makes me laugh in a sadistic kind of way XD

Ai Yazawa - One of the best senses of humor I've ever read.
Weiss Kreuz - SUCH AN AMAZING STORY.
Cecil Harvey - An absolutely amazing character in terms of overcoming self-doubt. And completely FABULOUS.
Naoko Takeuchi - The entire reason I got interested in anime. PERIOD.
GetBackers - Story was incredible and the art taught me both what to do and what NOT to do.
Ryuugu Rena - Gives me hope in a weird seeing-yourself-in-a-character kind of way.

Ai Yazawa for senses of humor? I guess I can see it a little, mostly in Neighborhood Story. Mostly what I think of when I hear her is (well aside from NANA!) is how she knows just the right strings/chords to hit to make me cry every time I read something from her. ;-; Even if I've read it 5 times before (hello ParaKiss), I still bawl.

That's part of the beauty though! That you can have a story as serious as ParaKiss and still have those moments of subtle humor like Yukari bowing to the make-up crew with the cliff note of right angle pointing at her waist - truly impeccable! XD
