lol, i cheated. I used the zoomlines from this site [link] and layed them over the top of my picture with the layer set to multiply.

I have nothing better to do, so it doesn't seem like such a big job. Plus, i can't sit down at a computer colouring for 7 hours in a row... i just do it in lil bits, it doesn't seem nearly as much time when you do it.

I think the perspective in the background of the first should be a litle more define. Not that it shouldn't be blured, but it's a rather jaggedy differntation between the grass and sky.

Otherwise. AWESOME I love the hair, you did a great job on it. I like the blurred effect with the hand, it's really awesome that you put that up

The blur was a last minute thing. I thought that it wasn't really obvious that he was knocking... it just looked like he was rubbing the door with his fist, haha. As for the background? Blegh, really couldn't be bothered. I wanted to do something cel-shadey and easy. So i did something cheap and crappy.
