Ok, here is a spiral made from a Mandelbrot set.I had no idea where it was going when I first started, as normal with me, and then the menagerie of colours appeared and made it all look better. Only problem was the colours were too saturated, so for the first time I used a selected opacity layer in the gradient and viola~

You can find some examples in heavenriver's gallery. Dreamy white and soft colors. Nowadays, I dont find many examples of such colorings done in UF.

Hi again, sorry for the late reply.
I'm on my old computer at the moment and I've just seen that the colours are indeed quite...well...saturated. More than what I intended them to be! On my other computer these colours don't show up as much

Its ok! Color calibration is very tedious thing and I myself have to take my exclusive images to different computers with different color settings/display adapters and cards. The results appear from mildly different to hilariously ones. And it is not just brightness/gamma, the actual colors values (HSB) also get messed up!

Very sorry but dont know what to say! One thing, if you want to keep so many of these colors, you may need to whiten the whole image a bit. Making the color blends more tender and dreamy.

Haha, but I agree with you about making it look a little softer. I guess I was in too close to the process of it which is why it isn't as light as it should be.
