I'm glad you support Etain and Darman, they are one of the best (quite possibly the best) Star Wars couples ever!

This is based of off Karen Traviss' Republic Commando series. Darman is a clone commando and Etain is a Jedi Knight. Over the course of the series they have a forbidden affair. ^_^ The books are fantastic if you like reading Star Wars.

I don't know if it's ever stated out right how old she is. I like to think of her as being 18-20ish.

So, I read the first book of this series. Are the rest of the novels very good?
And I always thought Star Wars could easily be made into a good manga/anime.

I love all of the novels. I mean, Order 66 is tragic and 501st doesn't have nearly enough Delta Squad in it, and then it all leaves you desperate for more, when you know the series won't be finished, but all are still totally worth a read.
If you are interested, they did adapt the orginal trilogy and the phantom menace into manga. All of them are well done.(With the possible exception of the Return of the Jedi manga - the artist gave the characters a bizzare look.)
I don't know why the didn't do any for the last two movies, though...

Well, I have my fingers crossed that she can make an appearance a la the Force (got to keep Darman from destroying everything and everyone somehow)and soothe Darman AND Kal, but pretty sure in the funeral that was her and not yet another kind of clone. (LOL)
Ah well. She (and the cuteness of their relationship) will live forever in DA artwork. ^_~

Etain and Dar > Romeo and Juliet anyday! More believabe, cuter, and in my opinion sadder, simply because I like the charries more.

They are greater than R&J, and have a more tragic story besides. (Definitely a more believable relationship too.) I thought the comparison worked though, so that's why the title.
