I'm glad you,re playing with glazes. I've been working with them for about 4 years. My paintings usually contain glazes in some form. I use at least 3 layers of paint usually more. what are you using in your medium?
So did you get back from the canary islands? I hope you have some photos to share, I heard the landscapes there are pretty interesting.

Glazes are amazing, I usually use standoil and venetian Turpentine, as for the canaryislands it was amazing took around 600 pics there mostly of stones, rock and moutains mayby Ill post some here

I hope you show me some of those photos. I tried stand oil but i dont use it anymore. Now I like thin glazes. Too much fat material seems to make putting additional layers impossible. Like your surface ate too much pesto and just cant take anymore.

yeah I dont use much standoil just cos of that "pesto-feel"
