She looks dead...But, either way, she sleeps. This is a very powerful image. For me, it could represent so many things. Also, for me, it is very close to what i am going through at the moment. My creative, artistic fire seems to have reduced itself to embers. .....i haven't drawn anything in almost 3 months.
Your work continues to inspire me, though.
Well done.

I like that the viewer isn't sure if she's sleeping or dead... We keep looking, trying to make up our minds.

Can I be the one to pull the rocks off her when she wakes up? Nice painting!

wow this is really amazing, I love the uncertainty of her being asleep or dead. Mysteries are the best

You always have such lovely earth tones; very silent, meditative, and quietly profound and unnerving.

Interesting stuff.
The land feels too soft edged and too void of details to me anyhow, a sharp look would have changed the feeling more to my liking but I do not know if the soft bed was the look you where going for.

Im going for abstracting the photo Im painting from but I also want to capture details and I may still add more details and more sharp edges, this is probebly not the final state of the painting... the only problem is my lazyness

Ah good to hear it'll get really great with more work I'm sure. The feeling of discomfort laying face down on the rocks would be heightened by making some jagged harder details imho. But of course perfectly matching the detail in the photo should not be the goal, taking the abstraction away from softness towards sharpness might pay rewards though

Fantastiskt vacker!
