We are of like minds - That was the painting I first thought of when I saw the image on my computer! I love that one - did you ever see the movie Gothic by Ken Russel? That painting is on the wall of Mary and Claire's bedroom, and then Mary wakes up from a nightmare in which the goblin is sitting on her chest.......

I do like them. This image is the most beautiful and emotive for me.
I'm sure I'm too dense to catch any meaning from "other". But that's fine. Let's let that mystery just float.
The gaze is quite powerful, as if defending what's hinted at beneath the fabric. But perhaps its all bravado.
