i have a special 2 their kick ass. and i think your "dust" adds a cool affect.

Composition is good, needs some improvements.
Dust, too much dust.
Reflection of doors etc, will take concentration away from quitar.
Background, a bit too much stuff.
All that could be done with one big white sheet!! Extralight/flash through that, will give you a nice soft light!

I think the contrast is too strong at some parts, and the background doesn't really fit. A white border will maybe fit better or no border.

I like how the focus is on the strings instead of the dials right in front. However, the image looks a bit grainy (I'm not talking about dust

This would look much better without the dust and with more in focus (smaller aperture, higher f-number). Maybe you really should retake it? It's a good shot elsewise.

It was taken with a digital camera actually, so no aperature or f-stop here

Nah, didgital isn't the problem here, point-and-shoot is ;] You can choose aperture with a DSLR!
I also wanted to mention the focus, would look neat if the first two buttons were in focus as well... maybe the pickups could be blurry. The composition, idea, and BW are really great, and I just love the guitar's shininess and the reflections! From the thumb I thought it were a photo of a glass table ;]

Very sharp! I like the black/white-ness, instead of colors. Adds to it, gives it a more . . . classic sort of feel.
