Description
This is Toodles, a pet portrait doll commissioned by a customer of her beloved cornish rex cat
and it's my first realistic cat doll!This doll is pretty small for his proportions: 35 cm in total length and 20cm tall approx.
Head and paws are sculpted out of super sculpey, hand painted with acrylics. Eyes are hand painted glass cabochons. Hand sewn single-sided microplush fabric to emulate the short and shaggy fur of this cat's breed, it has a wire armature inside to allow posability.

Well, I saw this and thought it looked a lot like a cornish rex, which is great. I have one so I thought "Hm, like Cara." It is very nice. My only thought is that the one thing I really notice problem-wise is that the fur is not the wavy kind the cornish rex is known for, but I also can understand why that'd be a hard kind of thing to find in the first place. Anyway, very nice!
