I'm not good with watercolors, and well, watercolors aren't good with me, but somehow the mess,inconsistency and simply amateur brushwork is what fits this piece.

I'm still that child whose hand shakes when I make a stroke. I'm still not in control of my element. I've seen people younger than me who know how to put their things together, who know how to make their perfect pieces; their perfect facades with adult faces. In a year I'll be two decades old, which I understand is not much compared to the rest of the world, and yet it feels like the pressure on me now is more than ever,what a joke. There will always be a pressure : a pressure to grown up, a pressure to work, a pressure to make your space worth it in this life.And I.... i just don't know what to do with all this..this expectancy. THEY keep yelling, "PICK A UNIVERSITY ALREADY", " IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION OF YOUR LIFE' ,but then THEY say," Oh, Uni doesn't matter, you'll discover yourself in one soon enough! Don't worry *heart emoji heart emoji*". I know I'm ranting but I need this.

Mom, if you were still here, could I please just rest on your lap and forget all this for a little while?
