Comics like this are very, very real, especially when you've actually had conversations like this with your friends. You of course did a lovely job with the characters, but what gets me is just how saddening and genuine this comic is, for both of them to have gone through the same situation enough times that it's not fun to talk about over the phone. It's beautiful, it's said, and it's real.
