I apologize for the picture quality, better shots to follow.Here is my Riza Hawkeye miniskirt cosplay first debuted in 2006 at Nan Desu Kan.
At first I was EXTREMELY unhappy with this cosplay but after many an alteration and touchups it makes me very happy and it seems to go over really well at conventions.
I tried to make it as true to the art as possible but obviously there are a few things such as the shoulder boards that are a little different. Also I need to repair the lapel insignia... but other then that what say you?
MATERIALS:
Heavy uniform cotton (feels like canvas) a royal navy color of some sort.
Approx: ten yards of silver sheer ribbon
Gold tapestry cord
Velvet (holster)
Various other accessories (sytrofoam gun, heeled boots hair clip etc.)

The award for the best Riza Hawkeye should go to you. The mini skirt only adds to it! I love it and I'm hoping we can all make it back to akon. We had the best fma group ever.

Hayate was packed by that time, the shoot was at eleven on Sunday soo I had to be out of the hotel by twelve hence no puppy, it was hectic enough trying to get from the shoot to the Slants panel, thank goodness I changed out of my cosplay!

A clothing line eh? Well perhaps I should, I'm planning on doing a ton of sewing over Christmas break... I've been doing mostly Lolita but I guess I could expand into a more mainstream fashion. I like the name XD! Would you be the fitting room attendant for my boutique?
