Oof! I can really understand where Lennox is coming from. His jealousy sounds like something a bit hard to control.

I've dealt with feelings of jealousy too. They're awful. I just try and get to know these people my friends are already friends with.
For one example, she's not my "bestie" yet but we are getting closer as we get to know each other, this one woman is extremely close to my husband and buddies with him. She's his co-worker and they are partners at work often when accidents get called in so they get called out together a lot.
Sometimes it still gets under my skin when my husband mentions her name around me. But he's just telling me about work experiences with her but hearing things like they got lunch together alone and things like that makes me extremely uncomfortable. I've told them both about my feelings and both assure me they're just good friends. She assures me my husband talks about me at work all the time just like he talks about her to me all the time outside work. So that makes me feel better.
But, sorry for blabbing on 
I'm scared of that too.
And the only other person who loved him (his sweet mother) is dead which is heart breaking.
He probably worries Carrie might put Ingrid in danger.
Perhaps Lennox could use some good male friends for guy times. Because girls gotta have their female besties you know?
