PIPER AS A CHILD!(13 to be exact)
If you remember, Piper was revealed to be a orphan a few months back!
HER FULL STORY IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS ARTWORK BELOW:
Piper was abandoned by her parents, they simply didn't want to deal with her.
She grew up in an all girls orphanage and had a REALLY LONELY childhood
Sure, she was surrounded by other kids she befriended, but inside, Piper felt lonely.
She ALWAYS wanted a family that loved her. She felt like a mistake for a long while.
When Piper turned 18, she had nothing.
She was NEVER adopted by the way.
Piper decided to become a stripper to get by, and she was damn well good at it.
She already loved to dance growing up, she is wasn't long before she fit in.
She had a son around this time as well, he currently lives with another family in the present.
Piper now considers Vera, Ingrid and Jodie her family!
Sure her and Vera aren't married, but the girls do see her as a second mom.
She's happy to be a maid at the palace.
Things aren't perfect, but they're sure a hell of a lot better now.

The atmosphere is PERFECT. Her room looks so bare and cold, like a reflection of the emptiness in her heart. The sense of loneliness and isolation is so strong... I can only imagine all that she went through during those years in the orphanage, knowing her own parents didn’t want her! 😭
Piper’s hella strong! She didn’t let her rough childhood break her or define who she is! 💪😤
I’m sure she never would’ve guessed she’d one day have such a wonderful new family and be in a relationship with the queen of Infernia herself! 🤣💕

Poor girl. It must’ve been very tough, being abandoned by her family and then forced to watch other girls barely any different than her be adopted while she stays there. Even the combination of snow and rain inspires feelings of sadness, especially if you’re a kid who likes playing in snow because the rain may melt the snow, giving you less to build snowmen with and sled in. This is a sad but superb piece, and you really are a great artist and person!~

It was tough. Life isn't fair for most characters, but that's what we storytellers call drama! Sure, we could make the worlds our characters live in utopias of justice, but that does not make for a very interesting story, so we put the heroes through hell because it's intriguing! It is lovely that Piper has found a family that loves her, even if it was when she was already fully grown instead of when she was young.
