Ah the gore genre is my guilty pleasure so I was pretty interested in the elements implemented in Amnesia. As for the game itself... I spook way too easily but I fell in love with it and it stopped bothering me after the first playthrough. I don't play horror games except for this one, ironically it's the one everyone finds the scariest. Go big or go home I guess xD;

Well, there sure are lots of gore in Amnesia, even if i was more into it for the general creepiness and disturbing ambiance. It changed from those jumpscare online games of that time. XD I actually haven't gone very far in it but the game cured me a bit from fear of the dark irl. It's a big fear to even watch the playthrough. 'bet that was a rough start. ^v^

Yeah there were times I had to stop even when I was playing in broad daylight the first time. I found watching Spike And Barley play through it on youtube made it better. That's really cool how it helped you though!

I was such a chicken i had to pause the game at almost every monsters appearance or even the flashbacks. Watching letsplayers made it really entertaining though.
