Description
This is the first of a series of 3 ads I had written and designed for my first semester Advertising class. I was given a case study for the sports drink AcceleradeTM and its potential launch in Canada.

The photos of both the woman and the Accelerade product are not mine. They are owned by their respected photographers. This ad is mock-up design for an Accelerade advertising campain, shown here as an example of my earliest ad plan and copywriting skills.

The idea behind this campain was to have the AcceleradeTM sports drink positioned as a 'post-workout' drink, so as to not directly compete with GatoradeTM and PoweradeTM, which dominate the in-game sports market. Accelerade has all the right ingredients to aid with post-workout muscle damage and recovery so it makes the most sense to carve out its own niche in the market.
