History/Personality: Socket was a drifter before she joined the DEL as a result of the destruction of her village. During her travels, she became infected with White Nose Syndrome (WNS). This caused her to be shunned by many of the bat villages she encountered. Upon hearing rumors of his cure, Socket began to seek out Grandmaster Zac, hoping he could treat her. By the time she found him, Socket was in a bad way. She was thin and malnourished. The irritation from the WNS also resulted in her wings and right eye to be badly damaged beyond repair, and her right ear to become torn as a result of her constantly rubbing and scratching them. Seeing her condition, Zac took her into his chapter and treated her like he had so many others, and gave her bionics to replace her injuries. A grateful Socket welcomed her new home. Showing a sharp and inquisitive mind, she found a mentor in June-La, and serves as a sort of apprentice to her. It was through June-La that she would meet her future boyfriend, and fellow mechanic, Adrik. Socket still shows some signs of her former infection. Although she is healthy and fit, she is still thin. She also has a habit of rubbing at her tattered ear whenever she is nervous, embarrassed or shy.
