Ma second MTT booiiiii! I have actually been working on this ref for ages, and just needed a little extra motivation to add the final touches and get it finished. And the MTT group getting revitalized was that final push. I truly love this species soo much, and I am very happy with this boi. Traden is kinda my main character in the MTT verse, but since I don't have a ton of characters in his story, they are all very important to me and I am quite attached to them. Not sure why I chose to make his human form first? I usually go the other way around, but oh well.
I got Altoraz as a MYO through a little contest hosted by Darkdragonblood , and designed him myself. This was the contest journal:

I also wanna say here that though I never made a journal or said anything about it, my 20/20 resolution is to focus on getting references done, for as many of my characters that don't have them, as possible. I don't know how that is gonna go, but I currently have a roster of 18 refs, mostly focusing on the closed species characters I have accumulated over the years. Next up would be actually working on my OCs that are not based on or linked to anyone else's creations or worlds, but hey, one step at a time.
(and of course I still intend to get all of my old un-submitted art up, which I pretty much just have of my OCs left)

Family:
Altoraz was raised in the uppermost levels of Junction City, and had a very rich and privileged childhood. Yet, at the same time, it was a rather harsh one, in which he had to be smart, and grow up quickly.
His family's wealth and station was due to the fact that both his parents were illegal weapons dealers. They were often involved with big name gangs, and even had fairly frequent dealings with the Resurgence (the main canonical terrorist organization in the MTT verse). Being the main supplier to a lot of these gangs made them a very valuable asset to them, and meant that they had their full protection, making them essentially immune to all forms of law enforcement. Despite knowledge of their crimes, they were never caught, and never will be. Altoraz was always a smart child, and as he observed the truth of what was going on around him, he learned at a very early age the true meaning of corruption.
The older he got, the more he learned to isolate himself from everyone, including his parents. He learned to trust no one.
Despite never really being a fan of what his parents did, he slowly became fascinated with all the weapons they traded in, more specifically, how they were built, and how they worked.
When he became an adult, he wanted to go to college to become a science engineer.
This was fine with his parents. He was not a planned child, and as such, his parents did not have any plans for him, which was a blessing and a curse. He hadn’t turned out tough like either of them, and had shown no desire or aptitude for the family business, so his father had decided some time ago to begin grooming someone else to take over.
They sent him off to college, completely paying for his tuition. He didn’t really develop any true friends there, but he did gather some acquaintances who he liked to talk science with. It was from a few of them that he first learned of ASP. Some of them even wanted to join.
By the time he graduated, top of his class, he had decided so did he. Being accepted into such an organization would be a testament to his skill, and give him a chance to finally put all his knowledge to use, as well as distance himself from a past he was not fond of.
Upon learning of this, his parents were of course not at all pleased. Yet, they agreed to it, on one condition: That he take a vow to never tell anyone in ASP of his history or anything at all about his family, and to never return home as long as he remained in ASP.
And so he took his oath, and put his family behind him.
He rose quickly among the ranks in the RD department, and gained recognition and respect. But he still remains mostly friendless, and in need of a therapist.
Personality:
Cold, Calculating, has the general opinion that he is better than everyone that is not an upper class citizens. His ego is large and sometimes makes a fool of him, though he typically recovers from such distasteful events with grace.
He is willing to stoop rather low to get what he wants, though he would never admit to such a thing.

He is particularly mistrustful of anyone he doesn't know, and still somewhat mistrustful of those he does, even if they appear to be a person of good integrity. It takes a long time, and is very hard, to earn his full trust. Because of this, very few people really know much about him at all, and he is a bit of an enigma at work.
He loves technology and improving/inventing things, and is quite good at it. He is very intelligent, and fairly good at figuring people out (most of the time). He is not particularly fond of violence, despite the fact that over half of what he develops are weapons. He does not like to get his hands dirty, literally or figuratively. He doesn’t really have any friends, due to his ways.
Though he always keeps it on the inside, on the whole, he is a very secretive, emotionally unstable, confused and conflicted man who needs to get his priorities in order.
