Family:
Traden was raised by his single father. His mother left them both when he was only two years old. He and his father have no connection to any part of his mothers family, and he has never met any of them. Both of his paternal grandparents passed away before he was born. His father has one sister who has been fairly involved in his life. He is not close enough to his aunt to consider her a replacement mother, but they are still close. He loves to spend time with her, and he trusts her very much, which often results in her being able to convince him to step outside his comfort zone and try new things.
He has a very good, strong relationship with his father, who always did his best for him as he was growing up, even if he was a little hard on him at times, and continues to be very supportive of him in his adult life. Traden looks up to his father a great deal. He taught him to be the man he is today.

Personality:
A generally quiet, calm and gentle person. He has the ability to keep his cool in almost all situations, always. He enjoys hilarity and knows how to take a joke, but usually does so with a quite sort of humor. He is very polite, and usually friendly, but somewhat reserved with strangers or really anyone he is not close to. This does not mean that he does not enjoy meeting new people, he is simply slow to open up. As a result of this though, he doesn't have many people he would consider to be his true friends, as one must be extremely patient to reach that point with him.
He becomes uncomfortable if people are overly friendly or get in his space too much. He also has a lot of trouble talking about his feelings, whatever they might be.
He very much enjoys helping people.
He is very passionate about his job, firmly believing in its cause, as well as its no kill policy. Of course he will kill if his life or his teammates or civilian lives depend on it, but only as a last resort. Traden believes strongly in second chances and the preservation of all life.
