The coloring may be quick, but the tutorial took a long time to do. TT_TTWhy is this lazy coloring, you ask?
Because 1) there are only two colors and 2) the professionals will scoff if you use dodge and burn instead of layer masks.

I played around with dodge and burn, but I kept failing on doing something nice with my drawings. Your tutorial kinda game me a "light" on these tools.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I don't use them.
My friend learned about them in her digital art course, but I don't take art courses, so...
I've been trying to find a good tutorial about them, but I'm still confused.

There's no coloring like lazy coloring!
But I like to make myself sound more "artsy-fartsy" by calling it "gestural" or "a loose style."

LOL. Yeah, I guess so. It's just sort of practical for me, 'cause I usually have to use a portable mouse or a touchpad to color, so I'm lazy about it since it hurts my hands if I take too long. XD
