All of these Disney/DreamWorks/etc. flappers are getting re-polishes for the new '20s. They will have a new blog on tumblr, as well as a new folder in this DA gallery, starting New Years of 2020. All of these old versions meanwhile are going to be dubbed "WIPS." Chrome out.Don Bluth's "Anastasia" already takes place in the 1920s. The real Anastasia would have been in her late twenties at the time the majority of the movie takes place (having been 17 when she died). Nothing in the story would have much changed if they had kept her real age--even her appearance and personality would be perfectly acceptable for a 27-year-old--but apparently it was extremely important that the lead of a cartoon princess movie be a teenager.
So anyway, here is a more modern, version of Anya's ball-gown, that she might wear to a casual party.
I do not own "Anastasia." And no disrespect meant to the real girl (who is not responsible for what her father did.)
