Well it looks like my time and effort poured into Photoshop have paid off
It might have taken hours, but I think this is a step in the right direction for my CGI development...This is my idea of Link (based on the new Link design from Twilight Princess) as a Dragon rider with his steed from a fanfic I plan to write. He holds in his hand the Staff of Farore and the sword strapped to his back is called The Phoenix Blade. More info can be found here [link] and [link]

How expensive would it be to convert The Phoenix Blade to a lightsaber in the Star Wars world using some ancient spacecraft technology from the lost race in Hyrule?

Well done pic but can you make a picture of just the sword and why is it the Phoenix blade instead of The Master Sword?
Does the sword have to do with the idea of a middle piece.

Unfortunately it never entered my mind that it could be related to any fourth piece of the triforce - I don't really think the concept is valid
But hey I never did expand on the origin of the blade!

I think the fourth triforce piece would act as some sort of balance to balance everything out rather then a new power?
I do not know how that exactly would work in detail but I feel that's what the 4th piece would represent rather then some kind of dark thingy which the Triforce is clearly stated to not be good or evil. You only get the piece that you represent the most since people's hearts are for the most part in balanced in one area or another.

It would be nice, I have to admit. However, if they were to place a DRAGON as a partner of Link in the LoZ, the games would be too easy because you could just dominate opponents with your dragon

Well, this could be an easy fix as just have stronger eneries in areas where the player will be using the dragon (Like the sky) and just don't let the dragon into smaller areas like towns and dungeons.

Awesome. Ive always wanted the Zelda series to expand on its characters and combat. And bring in deeper, darker, more touching stories like in KH and KH2.

Thanks, I was slightly upset with the dragon as his head is too small... I may try drawing a pic of him all on his own as a sort of character study. I love dragons

Holy crap, that's awesome! Amazing! *favlove* BTW, I would seriously recommend Corel Painter over Photoshop for coloring, but that's just me, I guess. I'm awful with photoshop coloring, but painter is easy for me. So I guess I'm biased.

Hmm, I will keep Corel Painter in mind, I'll definitely try it once I purchase a tablet. Photoshop is very difficult to do any freehand painting as such, but I think the thing that gave me the most difficulty was the brushes, lol.
I definitely know that it was difficult to colour and took me ages.... So if there is an easier way, I'll gladly take it
