Some of the friendship bracelets I made years ago: [link]
Been meaning to make one of these for a long time, but never had the sudden, random irrational burst of motivation to do so till today. This is dedicated to =BlackDelphin , whose recent questions about making friendship bracelets made me decide to stop being lazy and finally make this, and also to ~Tasah , who I decided to make the friendship bracelet for.
It took around 2 hours to make this bracelet (whilst taking tons of photos inbetween, etc.) and another 3 hours to write/assemble the tutorial.
If you have any questions or get stuck, feel free to ask, and I will at least try to help you.

~Poki-grzyb : - i think that you should pull all the time hard or light. u shouldn't pull hard in one time, then pull lighet, because u see what happens - in the beginning of your bracelets knots are made by light pulling and there are lot of area between them, but in the end of bracelet u pulled harder and there are no space. only light pulling or only hard
~alena-light : I could only share one hint - I use strands with twice length and just fold them in half. In this case loop looks more accurate (^

I just have a question about materials: I LOVE making things, especially friendship bracelets, and I am always out of string. What kind/brand of embroidery floss do you use that produces larger knots?

Thank you SOO much for this. It is so helpful! The most I've ever done by way of friendship bracelets is to plait a few bits of thread and throw in some beads, but I've been using your tut and things are going so well! It actually looks how it's supposed to look. Thank you so much! ^_^

Aww, thanks! ^^
It really isn't too difficult, as long as you keep an eye on your threads to make sure they don't get too tangled up. ^^ Good luck!

My pleasure, this is a great tutorial!
Oh, alright! That helps. I usually get strings tangled up when I work with them. So, I'll definitely keep an eye on them. Thanks for the tip [cuz i usually don't]!

And thanks for the tip too, I can see how that would make things a lot neater I added it to the end of the description and credited you for it, if that's okay with you.

man, i haven't made one of these in about...10 years, at least! I used to make these ALL the time when I was a kid. I used to piss my parents off because I'd always be saying 'I've gotta finish this row, mom! Be right there!' or whatever.
one of my favourite things to do was put holes into the pattern, or do the ties a little differently. I want to go buy embroidery thread now, lol!
awesome tutorial!

Hehe, that's always what I'm like when I'm working on an art/craft projects
And sounds like you were a lot more creative than me, I never did anything apart from sticking to the basic pattern
Thanks so much!

I've seen beaded lizards around, but never got around to making them... I tried making some other stuff with beads, though I have a terrible memory and can't really remember what, now.
Though I saw a really cool tutorial on dA a while ago that was actually a beaded *dragon*... [link] Still been too lazy to make it XD

I've seen a few ways to make similar bracelets but this looks by far the coolest. I'll have to come back later and for sure try this out.
Great job, it looks clear and easy to follow.
