Seems like hes satisfied with whatever the hell is in that little flask! To him, theres always something new to experiment, although with this, he often runs out of… ‘subjects’ for his little tests.
But, finally, sketched Dr Cryptic’s human form. And in his human form his real name is Dr Damon Dyinglight as he is the older brother of Dr John Dyinglight- however he goes by the last name of “Cryptic” for unknown reasons. That aside, Damon didn’t grow up around his little brother John, as he was given up to his uncle at the age of 5, it was Quintin Dyinglight who raised him. Although before he was given up, Damon was badly neglected and abused, this led to behavioural issues and.. abnormal psychology as he grew up. While John was abused by their father Thomas Dyinglight; a mentally deranged man- Damon no longer had to endure it being given up, but John endured it until he was 10. Due to this separation of him and his brother, John grew up thinking that Damon was his cousin when really it was his brother. Damon always knew however that John was his brother but he never mentioned it. It wasn’t until many years later into their adulthood that Damon told his younger brother the truth. The two don’t always see eye to eye as Damon is usually just a straight up asshole to everyone- but, they are still brothers in the end, so John does his best to get along with his maniacal deranged older brother- of course this isnt to say that John isnt deranged himself, but, at the least hes not an asshole generally. He also aside from being just a scientist, was oddly enough a doctor in an asylum, the same asylum that John ended up being held in for some time. Damon was assigned to be John’s doctor during that time.
