My memories of The Lone Ranger are of the cartoon show of the 60's. The animation wasn't that good, but the Ranger still kept a high moral tone. The Dick Tracy/batman - style villans, armed with Jules Verne/H. G. Wells weapons, were interesting. And it should get Honorable Mention as Best Cartoon Series because the middle of the three cartoons belonged to Tonto, making it the first cartoon program to star a minority.

Ok I agree and all.....I've seen a couple of episodes thought they were great.(Tiny Tom is my fav villain.)
