Terry, with one of my favourite quotes from Reaper Man.A slight 'cheat' for the final Inktober... mixing the illustration from the first Inktober drawing with one of the man himself.
This was the tribute design idea I had on hearing of his passing and it seemed an appropriate way to close out this Inktober. Thanks to everyone who followed along, appreciate the quotes and fun recollections of some amazing books. I only got through 16 images for inktober, but I'll be adding to that number periodically just because there are so many wonderful disc world characters I haven't gotten to yet... there is no way I was going to missΒ Zorgo the Retrophrenologist for one

Aaah man, My claim to fame is that I met him in the flesh when I was about 16. I made him a very weird card. And he signed my scrap piece of paper with 'Read it and Reap'.

As someone completely unfamiliar with the books your images and character snipets were very interesting. You need a full on color image of all the characters together like you did for those Mars characters or Mines of Moria group shots.

This last piece is the best Terry tribute I've seen so far.
I really hope you do add more to this serie, theΒ characters and lore really are a match for your artstyle.

Look at that ββing brushwork, will ya? See the way the line of the hand draws the ββing eye into the picture? Look at the quality of the light on the landscape you can see through the ββing window there. See the way the ferretβs nose follows you around the room? Thatβs ββing genius, that is.
