Moondancer was later adopted by Maud Pie, when she became involved with his mother Trixie. Formerly close with Pandora, whom he met and befriended in childhood. Very talented magic user, honed his ability through copious study and practice. Is a direct descendent of Starswirl the Bearded, through his mother Trixie, and is quite proud of this fact. Seeks to be the most powerful sorceror in the world. Very envious of Pandora's natural, immense magical ability, this envy is ultimately what destroyed their friendship. Current Moondancer is selfish, entitled, and borderline maniacal, willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top of his rivalry with Pan, and be truly great and powerful. Still, there's a glimmer of the old fun, nerdy Moony still in there...

Earth pony Mare. Deadpan with a dry sense of humor. Pandora's intelligent, hyper-competent, much beleaguered minion/best friend/royal guard/sidekick. Knows several ways to kill a stallion with her bare hooves, can make a quick weapon-grade bomb using only materials found in her kitchen cabinets, can also make fantastic vanilla buttercream cupcakes. Usually solves problems by punching them until they aren't problems anymore. Is Truffles' baking mentor, and Rosemary's sparring companion. Has a massive wingspan that makes him a phenomenally powerful, fast flier...but he would rather watch butterflies than compete in a race, to Rainbow's immense frustration. Pegasus filly. Ember's twin sister, older by ten minutes. The cool, level headed one of the pair, and the smartest of her siblings. Usually serves to put a stop to Ember's insane planned stunts. Can manipulate water with her wings through unique pegasus magic. Likes reading and swimming, is good friends with Truffles.
Ember
Pegasus filly. Misty's twin sister. Rough and tumble tomboy. Enjoys pulling pranks and doing insane, dangerous flight stunts. After Aerostorm, Rainbow wanted a kid that was a bit more like herself...well Ember is Rainbow Dash multiplied by six. Reckless, brash, no patience for sappy stuff (likes hugs from her older brother). Gets in trouble often, frequently butts heads with her sister Misty, and mother Rainbow.

Pegasus stallion. Bulk Bicep's skinny, geeky son from a prior relationship, Rosemary's older half-brother. Kindhearted, crafty, works as a sports photographer. Pegasus Stallion. Sly and cunning mind that preaches enlightened, detached hippie philosophy to avoid having to do real work or get close to other ponies. Excellent at identifying a pony's weak spots and manipulating them into doing what he wants. Manipulative ways stem from severe emotional neglect as a child from his irresponsible free-spirited parents. A prominent ex-boyfriend (and bad memory) of Aerostorm's.

Lightning Dust/Thunderlane

Pegasus stallion. Brash, loud, a complete brag, and the king of trash talk. Thick, inexplicable Boston accent. Competitive flier, the youngest pegasus to ever be signed into the Wonderbolts. Prides himself as the fastest flier in Equestria, unknown if this is completely true. Is the only pony capable under getting under chill Aerostorm's skin, they are fierce rivals and race often. Secretly admires Aero. Suffers from intense anxiety, gets jittery if he cannot be constantly moving, handles failure poorly. The first time Aero beat him in a race, Zips had a bit of a nervous breakdown over letting down his fans, family, and especially his overzealous mother Lightning Dust, and it became obvious to Aero that Zipperflash's obnoxious braggart persona was mostly just an act, and a fragile one at that.

Unicorn filly. Hardcore glam rock child superstar and musical prodigy. Blunt, yet kind-hearted, embraces a philosophy of staying true to yourself. Precocious and intelligent, but socially awkward with children her own age. Best friends with Truffles, whom she is fiercely protective of. Zipperflash's younger cousin, but their bond more resembles close siblings.

Unicorn mare. Conceived through magical assistance from Discord, which accidentally turned Rarity into a stallion (not that Applejack minded, no sir). Sassy, confident, with a love of the finer things in life, and a very repressed love of mud and hog wrestlin'. Works as a cosmetologist, hopes to become a world-renown beauty artist one day. Can play the banjo, hates this fact about herself.

Earth pony filly. Small, sweet, with adorable chubby cheeks. Loves sweets, likes learning about bugs (especially snails), gushing about the latest plot developments in Power Ponies, and receiving baking lessons from her mentor Cupcake. Adores Mother Luna's beautiful night, feels at home in darkness. Special talent is archery, Artemis has keen eyes and excellent night vision. Retains some owl-like tendencies from their deceased hippogriff father, such as the ability to swivel their head 270 degrees (this isn't an ability that is particularly helpful in socializing with ponies). Is the romantic target of the boisterous and determined Jamboree Sandwich, who Artemis is becoming increasingly fond of, to their own dismay. Luna teases them often about that cute little pink mare always visiting to spend time with "her Artie".

Changeling/Alicorn hybrid mare. Chrysalis proposed a political marriage to Celestia to unite ponies and changelings (and thus ensure prosperity for her people)....unfortunately for her, she really did end up falling in love with the Sun Princess. Iridescence was born of their union. Irie is a sly prankster, and enjoys messing with ponies via her shape-shifting abilities, eating sweets, flirting shamelessly with everypony, and generally shirking her princess duties (to Chrysalis's dismay). She is especially close to Mommy Celestia, and despite her hedonistic pursuits, Irie is a loyal, true friend, and genuinely cares for her people.

Spike/Thorax

Spike and Thorax came to be best friends growing up, bonding over being "monsters" living in a pony society. They formed a loving and sweet pair bond and travel as diplomats to foreign countries, acting as liaisons between ponies and other exotic other "monster" species.

Midnight Abyss (Real name: Morning Glory)
Unicorn mare. Surly goth, spends her free time writing gloomy poetry, basking in darkness, and complaining that her mothers won't let her dye her mane and coat black. Extremely talented at dark magic, struggles making friends. Midnight refuses to go by her cutesy birth name and has chosen a name more befitting a dark sorceress. Midnight's special talent is witchcraft and necromancy, and she spends a lot of time among the dead, aided by her ever-faithful pet zombie assistant, Bertram.

Donut Joe/Cinnamon Chai
Cuppa Joe
Unicorn Stallion. Friendly and warm owner of a Canterlot coffee shop, shameless flirt, coffee/food snob, cat lover, big fun guy. Absolute best friend/confidant/favorite lover of Princess Iridescence, whom he stumbled through awkward adolescence with and has been friends with ever since.

Lucifer ("Lucy")
Unknown species (unicorn/centaur magical hybrid??) Filly. Lucy was created from a union of dark magic, but perplexingly, she is possibly the sweetest filly to ever live. She is kind, considerate, generous, and free-spirited, and enjoys putting daisies in Daddy Sombra's hair, or making crayon unicorn drawings for Papa Tirek (who begrudgingly puts them on the fridge). Despite her sweet nature, she's feared and avoided by ponies (possibly due to her fathers looming over her and glaring at anypony who approaches, or maybe due to Lucy's four spider-like eyes and accidental bursts of dark magic). Lucy doesn't want to conquer kingdoms and shroud the land in darkness, like her fathers hoped. She just wants a friend is all.

Earth pony stallion. Bruce's deceased older brother, the perfect first son, an excellent fisherpony. Butch drowned as a colt, and his loss turned Bruce's father's heart black and hateful, while his mother retreated into alcoholism and depression. He died before Bruce was born and all traces of him were removed from the house, so Bruce has no knowledge of his deceased brother. Bruce subsequently grew up in a household full of emotional abuse and neglect, forever trapped in the ghostly shadow of the perfect brother he doesn't even know about.

Earth pony Stallion. Foul-mouthed, ill-tempered, and impatient, Bruce is Pandora's former childhood bully and inexplicable ex-boyfriend. Bruce boasts a heavy Australian (Oatstralian?) accent and an impressive vocabulary of colorful swears. He's not the easiest pony to get along with, but underneath his prickly, uncaring exterior, there's an emotionally-constipated mess that cares immensely about everything. If you get him drunk, it won't take much to get him sobbing into Aerostorm's shoulder about how he's the best friend he's ever had. Smarter than he looks, works in marine conservation. Detests Zipperflash, has immense disdain of Pandora, afraid of Cupcake and her freakish physical strength. Best friends with Aerostorm, close to Rosemary, forms an odd best friend duo with Magnolia May, who often drags him out on shopping trips. Has complicated feelings for Aerostorm that he's in heavy denial about. Owner of a pet female sea hawk, Pearlie, whom he babies as his own child.

Additional Notes
-Spike/Scootaloo and Jasper have been retconned. I would appreciate it if you all didn't leave comments asking for her to return, or suggesting an alternative way for Jasper to be in the verse. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed her character, but she's retconned. I will not be bringing her back. Spike is with Thorax now, and Scootaloo is with someone not yet revealed.

-The Pandoraverse disregards the MLP Season 6 finale. (Spoiler warning) I will not be using the new changeling designs. Chrysalis was never defeated by Starlight, rather she planned to propose political marriage to Celestia to create peace between ponies and changelings and provide a way to feed her people. The plan was purely a practical one, and Celestia agreed to the proposal, but things backfire a bit when Chrysalis does honestly, begrudgingly fall for the Sun Princess (and Celestia reciprocates). They have a daughter, Princess Iridescence.

Changeling/Alicorn hybrid mare. Chrysalis proposed a political marriage to Celestia to unite ponies and changelings (and thus ensure prosperity for her people)....unfortunately for her, she really did end up falling in love with the Sun Princess. Iridescence was born of their union. Irie is a sly prankster, and enjoys messing with ponies via her shape-shifting abilities, eating sweets, flirting shamelessly with everypony, and generally shirking her princess duties (to Chrysalis's dismay). She is especially close to Mommy Celestia, and despite her hedonistic pursuits, Irie is a loyal, true friend, and genuinely cares for her people.

Spike/Thorax

Spike and Thorax came to be best friends growing up, bonding over being "monsters" living in a pony society. They formed a loving and sweet pair bond and travel as diplomats to foreign countries, acting as liaisons between ponies and other exotic other "monster" species.

Starlight Glimmer/Sunset Shimmer
Midnight Abyss (Real name: Morning Glory)
Unicorn mare. Surly goth, spends her free time writing gloomy poetry, basking in darkness, and complaining that her mothers won't let her dye her mane and coat black. Extremely talented at dark magic, struggles making friends. Midnight refuses to go by her cutesy birth name and has chosen a name more befitting a dark sorceress. Midnight's special talent is witchcraft and necromancy, and she spends a lot of time among the dead, aided by her ever-faithful pet zombie assistant, Bertram.

Donut Joe/Cinnamon Chai
Cuppa Joe
Unicorn Stallion. Friendly and warm owner of a Canterlot coffee shop, shameless flirt, coffee/food snob, cat lover, big fun guy. Absolute best friend/confidant/favorite lover of Princess Iridescence, whom he stumbled through awkward adolescence with and has been friends with ever since.

Sombra/Lord Tirek
Lucifer ("Lucy")
Unknown species (unicorn/centaur magical hybrid??) Filly. Lucy was created from a union of dark magic, but perplexingly, she is possibly the sweetest filly to ever live. She is kind, considerate, generous, and free-spirited, and enjoys putting daisies in Daddy Sombra's hair, or making crayon unicorn drawings for Papa Tirek (who begrudgingly puts them on the fridge). Despite her sweet nature, she's feared and avoided by ponies (possibly due to her fathers looming over her and glaring at anypony who approaches, or maybe due to Lucy's four spider-like eyes and accidental bursts of dark magic). Lucy doesn't want to conquer kingdoms and shroud the land in darkness, like her fathers hoped. She just wants a friend is all.

Earth pony stallion. Bruce's deceased older brother, the perfect first son, an excellent fisherpony. Butch drowned as a colt, and his loss turned Bruce's father's heart black and hateful, while his mother retreated into alcoholism and depression. He died before Bruce was born and all traces of him were removed from the house, so Bruce has no knowledge of his deceased brother. Bruce subsequently grew up in a household full of emotional abuse and neglect, forever trapped in the ghostly shadow of the perfect brother he doesn't even know about.
Bruce
Earth pony Stallion. Foul-mouthed, ill-tempered, and impatient, Bruce is Pandora's former childhood bully and inexplicable ex-boyfriend. Bruce boasts a heavy Australian (Oatstralian?) accent and an impressive vocabulary of colorful swears. He's not the easiest pony to get along with, but underneath his prickly, uncaring exterior, there's an emotionally-constipated mess that cares immensely about everything. If you get him drunk, it won't take much to get him sobbing into Aerostorm's shoulder about how he's the best friend he's ever had. Smarter than he looks, works in marine conservation. Detests Zipperflash, has immense disdain of Pandora, afraid of Cupcake and her freakish physical strength. Best friends with Aerostorm, close to Rosemary, forms an odd best friend duo with Magnolia May, who often drags him out on shopping trips. Has complicated feelings for Aerostorm that he's in heavy denial about. Owner of a pet female sea hawk, Pearlie, whom he babies as his own child.

Additional Notes
-Spike/Scootaloo and Jasper have been retconned. I would appreciate it if you all didn't leave comments asking for her to return, or suggesting an alternative way for Jasper to be in the verse. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed her character, but she's retconned. I will not be bringing her back. Spike is with Thorax now, and Scootaloo is with someone not yet revealed.

-The Pandoraverse disregards the MLP Season 6 finale. (Spoiler warning) I will not be using the new changeling designs. Chrysalis was never defeated by Starlight, rather she planned to propose political marriage to Celestia to create peace between ponies and changelings and provide a way to feed her people. The plan was purely a practical one, and Celestia agreed to the proposal, but things backfire a bit when Chrysalis does honestly, begrudgingly fall for the Sun Princess (and Celestia reciprocates). They have a daughter, Princess Iridescence.
