My first attempt at panning, and I think it went pretty well! The guy is frozen completely and the sense of movement seems to work. I know I said I was finished with London, but I was delving through my shots and found this... Hope you like it!
PS, for all you fans of noise (you know who you are), I left some in for you!

I did it by moving the camera left to right as I took the photo... The shutter speed was long enough to capture the movement so the background blurred.

A very nice photoshop edition... If the man's sharp, the whole vehicle should be as they're going at the same speed...

No photoshopping done my friend. The reason the vehicle isn't sharp is because it was closer to me than the man, and as I pivoted on the same angle, the vehicle didn't traverse the same angle as the man did during the exposure. Hence the blur.
