Description
With the dawn of a new era in warfare, Britannia has decided to introduce a new weapon to it's infantry arsenal. The M46 is an improvement of the outdated and flimsy McBreck Rifle of the last decade.
Firing a slightly larger 7.5x45mm round the M46 hits harder than the McBreck. It also comes standard with the option of semi-Auto or Fully-Auto fire.
The larger receiver prevents cracks around the chamber that occurred with the McBreck, And the new rubber buttpad lowers felt recoil from the larger round.
Also moving the rear sight to behind the EP allows for a longer sight distance, which in turn provides added accuracy.
When fitted with a scope, the M46 will also function as overwatch support just as the scoped McBreck did in the past.
And the lighter trigger provides a lighter trigger pull, aiding to ease of use and also to accuracy at long range.

This is very neat!
If I were kibitzing, I'd move the front sight to the gas block and increase the OD of the flash hider to make it compatible with rifle grenades which come in 22 and 25 mm OD. ( I like 25 mm size personally for more range!) Then I'd raise the rear sight and convert it to a peep sight. Both sights need to be taller to raise the LOS to about 3"+- above the bore for a better cheek weld and sight alignment. It looks like a 7.62X51 mm magazine, but no hint of the caliber in the picture.
A scale at the bottom would give some sense of proportion?
I note that you state caliber as 7.5X45 mm but do not state the cartridge Length Over All. If it is the same as the 7.62X51 NATO, then the shorter case could lead to a longer Ogive but lighter projectile with the same, or higher MV, but more controlability, as in the CETME and FABRL rounds.

About the sight radius discussed above?
The closer to the eye the rear sight is, the more it vanishes and the eye automatically centers when looking through the aperture. This helps sight alignment tremendously and accuracy by several orders of magnitude!
While the AK and many rifles with open notch rear sights have trouble getting hits at 300 yards, there are several thousand who show up for the 1000 yard "Leach" iron sights only match at camp Perry each year. England has similar matches, but I can not remember their names any more.
That is why most good military rifles have rear "Peep" sights.

rEAL LIFE MILITARY RIFLES TREND TO THE SMALLEST CALIBER AND MUZZLE ENERGY THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH! (Sorry about the caps lock!) There are several reasons for it, but weight and recoil are the two big ones. Guns like the MKR 4.5 MM Rim Fire asault rifle were trialed, I fired it and recomended we buy it, but nobody listened. Any of the current, or trialed micro caliber rounds was several times more powerful than needed for army wide issue and real life combat. More people in America are killed with the truely amemic .22 Long Rifle than any - all other rounds. Studdies by every major army and Nation with pretentions of military power have tested how much energy it takes to make a casualty, or lethal wound. Those tests gave 68-80 Joules of impact energy. Certainly much more than any of those weapons including the MKR and it's punny rim fire ammo out to ranges that exceed 99.99% of soldiers ability to hit, or even see anything. More importantly even the smallest fragment hit is very painful.

nice design, really congrats
although i have my doubts about the rear AK sights.
the point is that i once read in a blog that the sight design was ment for a short relate radius.
thats why the rear sight of the AK is pretty close to the front sight (relevant)
once you have it close here in your design the point is that the vocal point for a human eye is setted in for close range to far...
anything in the middel is not optimal for your eye's vocal sharp progression.
still awesome design comrade!!!
sorry for the boring preach
and for my english... im dutch. i hope it didn't affect your understanding ^^

That may be why the AK sights were designed the way they were, but it's also why they suck lol. History and experience has shown that while the shots are more difficult, they are always more accurate with a longer sight radius, not shorter.
But I'm glad you like the rifle
