Description It's a model within a model! AAH!
In sketchup it has over 140000 faces, not even broken down into basic polys.

Onmy current pricing scheme this would be worth about $73.00 US.

built in SketchUp, though I have the means to convert to another format. Rendered in Kerkythea 2008 Echo

inspired by Assassin's Creed 2

(I believe this one is not yet included in your 3D album, only for now in Featured)

Nice modelling work. Must've taken you quite a while to put together. How long did it take to render?
My 2 cents: Lots of texture mismatching and repeating. Could use some more light as well.

Thanks
It only took around half an hour to render, though I'm not quite sure. I had to restart a lot...

The texture repeats where something I tried to avoid, but it still happened nonetheless, and the odd decal textures worked a lot better in SketchUp than in Kerky.

More lighting would probably be a good idea too

Oooh, a trade route probably. Or some mountain pass-area.

Can you throw some more light on it?

LordGood In reply to unigami [2011-07-18 21:37:08 +0000 UTC]

I could, but I dont have bumpmaps, so it looks wierd in brighter lighting-
i could probably figure something out though...

Using the textures that are already in it as bump maps gives a more natural texture

Your decals become smooth, and the stains become indented XD
It doesnt work with some textures as well as others

Clean brick works great, but dirty brick doesnt work so well-
